Tapsak/Tap (Typical Hmar traditional fireplace)

The traditional fireplace of the Hmar tribe still in used. As you can see the fireplace is not only a place for young lovers to sit-and-chit chat but also a complete set of storehouse. There are places for woods - dry and almost dry, traditional masala like sathu, sithu, changal and so forth. It is a typical Hmar tribes' cooking place, well for everthing.
